Todd and Rod

Rod and I took what was supposed to be a two-day trip to North Dakota and then back to South Dakota.

Unfortunately, another injury cut the North Dakota round short by nine holes and forced us to cancel the South Dakota round. 2022 rounds were impacted by two different injuries.

Dakota Winds was a nice course in the SE corner of North Dakota. It was well-kept and nicely maintained.

I shot a 44 on the front nine before having to withdraw from the second nine. I was happy with how I hit it and putted the final five holes. Would have liked to have played the back nine because Rod was playing very well and there were some nice holes on the final nine.

Made this putt for birdie and on way to +1 on final five holes

The nice thing about golf is you can struggle, struggle, struggle, then hit just one shot and it can trigger some confidence and help you play much better. This round had that, because I was struggling.

Course was in good shape. Fresh rain had it playing softly and a bit longer.
