WIN TODAY!

I like to remind myself of this quite often so I'll do so again today. Maybe you need to be reminded too.

In the education world it's the end of May and we had graduation yesterday. What a combination. That means some people go into coast mode.

You will hear it today. People will joke about it but probably are not really joking. Monday! Let the comments begin.

You may also see a variety of posts about how horrible Monday is like:

"I can't believe it's Monday already"

"I wish we had just one more day for the weekend."

Today I'll here "Only one more Monday before summer".

(I'm glad my name isn't Monday).

We have to approach today (Monday) like we should every other day... to win it. Have the right mindset today because the people you lead need your attention, help and support today. They may not be able to wait for you to be ready tomorrow.
