The Power Of Words Wrap Up

This week it has been enjoyable remembering some of the words that helped shape who I am today. I'm far from perfect but thankful for the people who have invested in my life, cared enough to challenge me and tell me the truth.

I have been reminded that as a leaders and people of influence our words should:

• Encourage not discourage • Build Up not tear down • Be Filled With Truth not lies and deceit • Breath Life not indifference • Promote Change not comfort • Free People not bind them • Help not hinder

You get the picture. Our words, rather spoken verbally or written In some fashion are powerful and will be used for good or bad. If you are a leader, and you are, you have an additional responsibility to use your words to make those around you better.

As we close this brief series (for now) I want to encourage you to think of words or phrases that were spoken to you that had an influence and impact on you. I would love to hear your story. See contact information below.

Talk to you next week. Thank You for reading.
