This is Bryce. Bryce is a Candle Maker. An extremely talented candle maker.
We met Max in Sedona, Arizona at a little stand in a little store front across the street from their bigger store. He works for Global Candle Gallery (globalcandlegallery.com).
Bryce is able to create beautiful candles out of a plain white wax globe by dipping it into a variety of colors and then carving his artwork into them. Two friends and I watched him for an hour as he created two custom candles. One with a rose and then one with a horse. He was unbelievably talented and fun to talk with.
So what did Bryce teach and remind us of?
Use your talents. No matter what they are. No matter where you have to use them. Your talents have been given to you to be used as a blessing to others.
Bryce used his talents, kept us glued to watching him use them and created something beautiful out of nothing. There is a Sunday sermon in there somewhere but there is also a reminder.
Use your talents. Don't hide them. What you can do is needed and will be appreciated by many. Your light needs to be seen just like the candle our new friend Bryce, the candle maker, showed us.
