...But They Won't Fill The Ice Cube Tray!!

Yesterday we talked about being a servant leader at all times in all situations. You know how we got to that leadership lesson don't you? That's right. Someone else chose to not serve. They decided to take the last ice cube (s) and return the trays to the freezer. Oh, the madness.

That's right. Not everyone will want to fill the ice cube trays. They won't want to be a servant leader at all times in all situations. So what do we do now?

Serve at all times in all situations.

Some will say they don't have time for that.

Serve at all times in all situations.

Some will think it's not their job.

Serve at all times in all situations.

Others may be busy and they may be in a hurry. That doesn't make them bad people or poor leaders. Not at all. They may not think about it. When we fill the ice cube trays is doesn't make us better. It doesn't make us special. It simply allows us to serve and be a servant leader for them and others. We don't do it for attention or for fame. We do it because we want to serve at all times in all situations.

I hope you find some ice cube trays to fill or another way to serve today. Look for them. The simplest opportunity may be right in front of you.
